Dr. Khan is a native of Karachi, Pakistan – however after her move to the United States she calls Fayetteville, GA her home. Dr. Khan wanted to be a dentist since she was 13 because she loved the fact that a dentist can help people smile again. After her bachelors at the University of Georgia she went to Virginia Commonwealth University to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. At VCU she received the United Concordia Dental Scholarship in 2019, and General Scholarships during the years 2018 and 2017. She loves providing dental care involving complex restorative work such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and veneers. She also understands that there are times to help a patient get out of pain by providing necessary dental care such as extractions and root canal therapies.
Dr. Khan came to understand the lack of care that exists in an underprivileged community as she grew up in a third world country. She strongly believes in giving back to the community and has tried to do so by participating in community programs such as Mission of Mercy Projects in Virginia and Georgia, Give Kids a Smile Day at VCU, an international dental trip to Jamaica and Dentistry from the Heart.
Dr. Khan married her childhood friend Ebad. In her free time, she loves to cook traditional Pakistani cuisine and likes to experiment with it by introducing western cuisine cooking style into it. Her favorite show to binge watch is The Office.
