1. Each insurance company sets their own policies and decides if they will cover certain services and how much they will allow. Some, or perhaps all of the services provided may be non-covered, this often has less to do with what is actually the best treatment for you and has more to do with what your employer has deemed reasonable with your insurance company. We recommend that you follow up with your insurance carrier within 30 days of filing a claim and advise us if there is a problem. 2. Some insurance carriers will request additional information such as dental records, x-rays, etc., which may delay payment. We respond to each request as quickly as time permits. 3. Flatrock Family Dentistry is not a participant of any preferred provider program. If arrangements have been made to accept assignment of benefits for your treatment and your insurance company has not paid any outstanding portion of your bill within 60 days, the balance is expected to be paid in full by you at that time. 864-297-5268 Thank you for choosing Flatrock Family Dentistry. Our financial policies reflect this commitment. Three convenient options are available for you to fulfill your financial responsibility. OPTION 1. Pay when scheduling your appointments and receive a 5% discount. We offer our patients the opportunity to receive a 5% discount on their proposed treatment plans when they pay in full at the time of scheduling. We accept cash, checks and debit cards. We also accept Visa/MasterCard, Discover and American Express. For those patients with insurance who pay in full at the time of scheduling, we will file your claims and any available benefits from your carrier will be paid directly to you. OPTION 2. Pay in full on the date of service. We accept cash, checks and debit cards. We also accept Visa/MasterCard, Discover and American Express. In some cases we are able to offer financing through an outside financing company. The office pays the interest up to the term’s agreement. Several plans are offered depending on the amount you would like to finance. OPTION 3. Dental Insurance. It is important to understand that our primary concern is our relationship with our patients, not their insurance companies. Our office staff will gladly work with your insurance company to help you maximize your dental benefits. Please help them by providing accurate information. The patient will leave the portion the insurance is not estimated to cover on the date of service. Please remember this is only an estimate. Any balance or credit on your account will be settled after receiving your insurance payment.
